Hello friends,
Four poems again this week. Enjoy! (And please purchase The Robots of Babylon! I need the sales…).
MOON SONNET
The Moon,
despite
its white
lagoon,
has strewn
tonight
blue light,
maroon
by dawn
and lost
to sun —
withdrawn,
like frost
unspun.
NIGHT (Anagram-Tanka)
Oh, instead paint gloom:
At night, some old piano.
A pained, moonlit ghost.
The dim sonata pooling
a poem in light and soot.…
CINDERELLA (Palindrome)
Won, kill a hymn in me:
Loss. A will. A ball!
It tore boot, too....
Flee!
Hot, stuck, sat one cinder’s burn:
Ella frets, is a fire he’s in.
Go certify, so care, play —
O, royal, per a cosy fit, recognise her!
If a sister, fallen, rubs red, nice not,
ask cuts to heel, foot too be rot.
Till a ball,
I was solemn in my hall,
I know.
DREAMS (Palindrome by Word)
Dreamed I, where stars
were blues and greens,
those dreams of death,
the death of dreams.
Those greens and blues
were stars, where I dreamed....
Love them all, put "Dreams" really spoke me!
