Four Poems
Hello friends!
I am very pleased to share with you my new website anthonyetherin.com, which launched over the weekend. The site features lots of free poetry and music, as well as a shop containing my book, chapbook, and music releases. Please take a look!
Now, some poems….
WEREWOLF (Palindrome)
Flow, a name’s lupine, moonlit side.
We distil no omen:
I pulse —
Man, a wolf.
ENIGMA, FOR ALAN TURING (Palindrome by Pairs)
Decode:
Men awe,
at that heathen spindle,
to see any machine’s ode....
Cater, Enigma!
I generate codes,
inch —
many ease,
to lend pins heat;
heat that we name, decode....
THE DOVE (Sonnet)
For Jove

(and love),
it wove
and dove,
this dove,
its glove
a cove,
a groove
or grove
to move
or rove —
to prove
it strove....
LEAVES (Triolet)

that rustle in the endless breeze?

whose sorrow grew. (These hanging hosts
were sentinels of ancient posts,
but now are noosed to nameless trees.)
Whose sorrow grew these hanging hosts?
That rustle, in the endless breeze....
