Hello friends,
Four more poems this week. Enjoy!
FOR BASHO (Palindrome-Haiku)
Loop a tag or fog.
Oh, sable, we jewel Basho.
Go, frog at a pool!
BEOWULF (Anagrammed Lines)
Reading Beowulf,
I frowned. A bugle
blew a ruined fog.
"Go, run!" I fled a web —
fragile, unbowed....
HYMN (Palindrome)
We dye
no hymn
in words.
Drab bards drown
in my honeydew.
TIME (14-Word Sonnet)
When
all
men
fall
for
light
or
night,
still
time
will
climb
to
you.
"Drab bards drown in my honeydew."
That must be a helluva honeydew you got there. I'll try to dress more colorful. Thanks for the warning.
