Hello friends,
Five palindromic haiku this week. Enjoy! (And if you do, please consider supporting my work by purchasing either The Robots of Babylon or my omnibus edition Knit Ink (and Other Poems).)
Alternatively, buy me a coffee on Ko-Fi!
THE CITY (Palindrome-Haiku)
Go flat, urbanised....
A cradle here held arcades
in a brutal fog.
MADNESS (Palindrome-Haiku)
Peel song, no sadness.
Send a made bed a madness.
Send a song no sleep….
MATHEMATICS OF A FROZEN LAKE
(Palindrome-Haiku)
Slam ice, dynamic.
A bad loch: Cold abaci —
Many decimals.
A MERMAID (Palindrome-Haiku)
Nurse! So, hydrated,
a mermaid I am remade.
Tardy hoses run….
AD ASTRA (Palindrome-Haiku)
Art, sad as me, opt
for odes I’ve devised — or, oft,
poems ad astra.
Love everything about this! I’m gonna pocket this idea and try it out. But until then, mad respect for the creativity and the time it must’ve taken to write these.
Wow this is an amazing art form - I a so impressed!!!!
